Hi, I’m Kate, the designer behind Kyungdesigns!
With a background as an architectural illustrator and qualified Urban Designer, I bring a strong foundation in composition, detail, and storytelling to everything I create. After years of crafting bespoke stationery as a side project, I eventually followed my passion for wedding stationery and live event illustration, turning a long-time creative outlet into the dream career I’m so lucky to enjoy today.
My work allows me to combine the technical precision from my design background with the personal connection and emotion that come from working with people on their most meaningful occasions.
When I got married, my husband and I chose a small, intimate celebration and spent a lot of time thinking about how to make the day feel truly special for our guests. I designed all of our wedding stationery and painted each individual guest as a keepsake - a way to make the day personal, memorable, and meaningful for everyone who joined us. I want to recreate the joy it brought me whilst designing my wedding stationery, to one I can share with you and your big day!!
